"Completed" LOL! Although I don't think I'll be doing anything significant for awhile.

I can't wait to try these tires out in some dirt!

Oh there will be some mods all right
In hindsight I realize that was not the right word, or phrasing rather. I look forward to seeing this stage completed :D I know the modding never completely stops, that's for sure. Those things are going to dig like nobody's business! I've seen a couple more guys since last time on tundras.com and Tacoma world with those tires and they look great no matter what they're on.

I'll be picking at the little things in spring. I'm not sure when I'll do the roof rack. I am also looking forward to just driving it and enjoying it this year!

I'm sure you're looking forward to some fair weather road trips in that trail limo as well! :)

Stock 4Runner suspension is badass as it sits.

That being said, one of my favorite STL mod days (rip) we did 4 4Runner suspensions.... Simultaneously

I'm actually road tripping to Lacrosse Saturday to sell the leaf springs off the frontier. But yes I am very much looking forward to fair weather cruising with the back window down

Something about stronger battery terminals. Idk. Dude had to tow his 4 Runner home because he cut too many wires.... (I was in Belize at the time lol)

Yeah.... It seems to be overkill. I think his justification was something about it handled deep cycle batteries better and he wanted to eventually go dual battery with a roof top solar charger and an ARB fridge/freezer in the back etc.

Which is hilarious because he has 3 kids, so no way was all of that gona fit in a 4Runner lol. He has an Office Cab Tundra now.

Lol! Yeah, the 4runner has big enough back seats. But, room for 5 plus supplies for an extended trip, not so much. It's perfect size for me. :)

I think as far as camping vehicles go, they're ridiculously tough to beat. I'd love to have one, but they're even pricier than tacos and I need that open bed.

Yeah, it definitely fits my lifestyle well. I liked my Taco, just preferred the back-seats and trunk VS a bed.

As far as cost, though, they're not much worse when equipped comparably. I see Tacos well over $40K now. It seems ridiculous, until you see a $40K Rav4. o_O

Yeah the new Ravs seem pretty nice but holy cow is the price high for what you're getting.

That's all dealership markup too. fight them against each other, utilize Black Friday deals, and internet price comparisons. You end up dropping easily five grand off some of those things.

I got my 4runner for $4K under MSRP by doing that. Then they tried to low-ball my trade in. I was about to leave when they suddenly found another $2K lying around.

Beadlocks on wheels should only be there if they're functional, don't @ me.

I tend to agree about the beadlocks, but it makes me a hypocrite. I like the look, but admit it's cheesy.
