Well said bro! My wife believes someone has been watching me and just hates the fact that I drive what they want because there 0 reason to do this shit to anyone vehicle. This dude hast to be a mental case that did this. I park in the same area all the time and give people their space when parking. I wave and smile at everyone that live in my area so it pisses me off that this shit happened. Looks like I have to be more observant now.

Man I’m 41yrs years and don’t even care to honk at people when they cut me off or even care to tailgate anyone just because. I take pride in building my truck up and baby it in the streets. Punk ass kids are always gonna be that way but if your a grown man and are doing shit like this I’ll be glad to check you into a mental institution on my dime or your just a straight hater that’s needs to grow up and get a job to have a big boy toy like the rest of us!

Sorry man, that hurts to see. This is why I have a dash cam with parking mode.
It might not stop somebody from doing something stupid to my truck but gives me a little peace of mind knowing I can see who did what if it happens.

That reallysucks. You never can tell who would do that sort of thing. Someone who is jealous, hates trucks, hates men, random DB, or some head case. Lots of psychos to choose from.
About 10 years ago, I was an acting Principal and had to send a sub home because this psycho was yelling at students and behaving in a threatening manner toward other staff. After he was out the door I called HR to make sure he didn’t work for us any longer. When I left that day, I found he went all the way around my truck and scratched a$$hole in the drivers door. Insurance paid for it and it spent a couple weeks at the body shop, but it was fine in the end. As much as I would like to have settled that score old school, it’s a car. That guy had bigger problems.
It seems to be the world we live in today. Hope you get her back together the way you want.

Yeah I prayed about it to be honest and prayed for the person that did it. Hard not to be mad but I also don’t want to go to bed stressed and my wheels in my head turning so I’ll let god or karma deal with it. I’ll wait to have the insurance look at it to fix it. Especially since I was planning to move out in August anyway I’ll just wait to have it looked at and hopefully fixed. Don’t want to get it fixed now then the same hater ruin it again.

Lol, some of these comments like the OP deserves this for some reason. People are people. Good and bad.

my guess is just dumb stupid luck. Truck parked in the wrong place at the wrong time.

sorry to see this OP!! Truly hope that it gets fixed correctly and beautifully and the truck looks perfect again.

I know your blood must be boiling. Mine would.

People are so fucking crazy that they don’t even need an excuse/reason to do this.

    I feel for you OP.

I think that is a good way to address it. It’s tough when you are mad and you feel attacked. Prayer isn’t the first thing that comes to my mind when I’m mad, but I usually get a quick reminder from my wife who isn’t taking it as personally. It does make for the best outcome though. I grumble a little, but I know she is right and I think you are too.

Confused and mad is a hard emotion to go through but at the end of the day I know the dude that did this has some serious issues do do the whole truck like that. Imagine if this was done because I cut someone off or took his parking spot like WTF

My guess is some punk kid(s). My car in college was keyed pretty good. Wasn’t a great vehicle but I still took care of the paint and prided my possessions.

People have been killed for honking at someone. The world is a mad place.

Your right about that! Now I have to deal with looking at Scarface for a few months until I get it fixed.

Yeah, it feels like someone taking money right out of your pocket. I try to look at it the way I would if a part broke. It’s unexpected, it sucks, but it happens. I’ve prayed out loud over difficult repairs or things that are hard to get through. It really helps me when I’m struggling or others are struggling. I wish it were more of a first response for me, especially when response number one is analysis or anger. Prayer always leads to a better result and peace of mind for me, but old habits can be hard to overcome.

Glass half full scenario: you can now get some nice pinstripes while wheeling. Have your insurance see it first though.

Thats a great way of looking at it! I just wish it was me that made them deep scratches in a forest tight off-road trail lol... yeah prayers out loud ease my nerves for sure and if it comes out of a place or feeling urged I know it’s not only me thinking about praying for the issue at hand.

Indeed! Hopefully the paint recall notice I got in the mail last year for my rig is still valid and hopefully they honor it
