They mentioned instant deposits were not being allowed. Probably another way to "protect the market" while allowing people to buy in in limited quantities.

 

AMC is the only one that's bitting me for now. Bought in a little too high, wish I woulda waited for them to screw everyone yesterday to buy into it.

 

My suspicion:

320 is a top line cutoff for a lot of calls sold in the past 3 days. There are interests closing there or above for sure, and some of them may be whales just as big as the shorts. This was and is an opportunity for any firm slinging hundreds of millions or billions that wasn't short GME to drive a dagger right through the heart of their competition.

Welp, it was fun while it lasted....

 

Reading between the lines on some of the articles, I think RH also ran into their own liquidity crisis.

Instant deposits represent money they're loaning to you -- essentially letting you ride the float on the couple days it takes the transfer to occur.

Too many people doing instant deposits perhaps overcame their funding availability?

I'm so confused, because I had one from yesterday go through just now. Guess I only have $500 to play with in RH smh

Edit: And it didn't accept the request or say anything about it actually withdrawing money

 

I dumped another stock to get some funds available to buy a GME dip and it froze the app and then insisted that I update my profile before proceeding. It eventually allowed me to do what I wanted but it took a few extra minutes before those funds became available. And of course in that time GME was no longer below the point I wanted it to be so now I am waiting again...

I downloaded Webull yesterday and tried to open an account but it takes 1-2 business day to become active. RH has an advantage that it is instantaneous (or at least was before this). I will move everything to Webull and delete RH as soon as it is activated

I bought AMC on average of $3.60 last March. I sold it for just under $4 earlier this month. I bought back in at $9 last night. Lesson learned
