Vibration at 25

I have a vibration in my truck when I'm accelerating through 20-25 MPH. It goes away when I hit 30 MPH. It seems as though there is a TSB for this, but this problem doesn't bother me enough to warrant me taking it in. My question is: is this vibration problem going to damage the truck in any way? Do I HAVE to take it in to prolong the life of the driveline, or is the vibration merely an annoyance to some that doesn't actually damage the truck?

 

Does your truck have a liftkit in it or is it stock. You shouldn't have any vibration. Sounds to me like the driveshaft isn't properly balanced. Could be the tire balance as well but speeds seem low for that.

 

It's totally stock with 2100 miles.

 

bring it to the dealer. Mine has 34K never had a vibration. My guess is your rear drive shaft is out of balance.

 

There definitely is a TSB for this...or was for 05-08's. It's the rear transmission mount IF the TSB applies. Really not sure it does or would on 2011's.

Google T-SB-132-08 or search for it in the forums. If it applies it has nothing to do with lifts: it's a 2nd order resonance and the new mount is just tuned different to damp it out.

The 60K warranty applies to this repair so if it is the problem you have plenty of time yet.
