I'm considering installing a couple auxillary lights up front of a 2004 Double Cab. Where are people putting the switch in the cab? I really don't want to take the whole dash apart. I was thinking of the small rectangle to the left of the two vents in the center of the dash above the radio and climate controls. Any suggestions or places with easy access would be great

When I put lights on the front of my 99 I made a plate out of plastic to fit where the non functioning clock was. I used a piece of a plastic case that a craftsman tool came in and just dremeled slots in it to mount the switches. I was able to use one of the old clock retaining screws on one side and I just super glued the other side down and it looked good and functioned perfect. Sorry I don't have any pics, Toyota bought that truck back in July.
