I wish I wasn’t so damn stingy. I’d love one but I doubt I will ever be able to spend the cash for one. The hammock is still comfy spring through fall.

I finally made it up to Worland for the day (balloon pump training). I like it a lot more than I thought I would. The base is crazy nice.

I’ve been in Lander for my initial training for the last week. This base is crazy busy and I can’t wait to get to Worland so I can slow down a bit. Hope y’all are well.

The Guardian Flight medevac base at the airport. In Worland we have a King Air c90.

Glad you at least initially like Worland!

Do you know how many flights you currently do to what Worland does? Been hearing flights leaving once or twice a day here but no clue if its Guardian or not.

GF Worland has an average of 24 flights a month. But, sometimes they run their butts off. Lander is a training base because of the volume. I think most of the FW bases fly more than the rotor bases especially in the winter because of weather. There was a nice PC-12 parked there yesterday that I don’t think was ours and I heard that some rich dude keeps a larger aircraft in a hangar there.

Yeah a guy there recently bought a Global XRS, if you run into his pilots ask them if they need a third pilot. I’d love to live an hour and fifteen minutes from our cabin in the Bighorns.

I’ve made it to said cabin once in the past two summers, the chances of coordinating my scattergun schedule with everyone else is :tumbleweed:

Jealous. I love the big horns. My Dad always wanted a cabin up there. Have spent a LOT of time in those mountains. Good stuff

It bums me out too. Would be a whole lot different if it was an hour away vs. almost 4 hours. So many little projects I could knock out up there in a weekend, not to mention the endless hours I could spend swinging in a hammock on the banks of west ten sleep creek or fishing.

I don't use those specific ones, but I use the T-STACK, which are also weathertight, and like them. Air-up/recovery gear in one, and "OSK" in a couple more that I put in the bed.

Figured I should take a pic since this may be the only time it doesn't have any warnings on the dash

No, my OSK and recovery are separate - that's why two photos. :p

Pic 1: Two cases for OSK (mostly tools and just a few small parts), that go in the bed. I guess that admitedly, this has a tow strap in it, which I basically never use, but want to have just in case.
Pic 2: One case for the recovery gear and air-up, which goes in the cab in that cubby I built for the second battery.

I didn’t have any tools to take my skid plate off the other day when I bent it in half so I just had to tie it up out of the way with a shoe lace off my boot :anonymous:

I try to make my OSK and my tools separate, I've got the ususal expendable parts in the OSK, but it ain't huge. But I'm set to rebuild the whole POS in tools lol
