Weekly options are at close on Friday, so after hours do not matter.

@TreeFortRichard might confirm he was who I talked about this with and knows the options expiry more than I do.

IF you're holding the $320 and it closes at $304...and it goes to $400 after hours you're the new owner of 100 shares

 

They should teach investing etc. in high school. I feel left out.

 

So long as you have 32k to buy the shares with. Hope some people holding these options understand that.

 

Which is why every brokerage firm will liquidate your contracts at 3PM EST on Friday unless you have the cash on hand to exercise them.

 

Alright, so after stalking this thread for 3 days and trying to understand what the hell is going on, I will share that I have some skin in the game on GME.

I got in at just under $17 last March. I was perfectly content selling half my shares @ $340 on Wednesday and not looking back after I fell out of my chair when I logged into my 401k in the morning...but then I found this thread.

Back in @ $301 this morning.

seriously - reading these threads on TW, and fumbling around just reading threads on subreddits has taught me most of everything I know. (With corroboration and second sources etc).

 

RH auto sells your contracts an hour before close if you're ITM. That's why I was confusing myself earlier.

Other brokers will try to exercise them I'm assuming.
