All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

So insurance is gonna send a tow today for the Taco to take it to a shop then have an adjuster look at it. Y'all think I should take it to Greer? or just have them take it to one on their list of shops? Chances of finding an Aftermarket bumper without a long lead time are pretty slim, so I might just do headlight. Unless I can rock without a bumper at all till one is made...Any advice would help, this is literally my first accident I've ever been in so don't have much of an idea of what I'm doing.

You shouldn't need a bumper just to drive around, if you're cool with how it looks without a bumper until you buy one go for it. As for the other stuff, not sure haha

SOS is probably your best choice for a custom bumper fastest. Otherwise something like a Warn that is mass produced.

Yeah that's what I was thinking since I've seen a few trucks driving around without one as they wait for it to be made sometimes.

I'm gonna call em today and see what lead times are lookin like rn. You were saying yours just got done right? About how long did it take?

No, I went with SSO (different company, equally as confusing). Ordered 11/29, might be getting done shortly. My skids and sliders from SOS took five weeks.

Ahh, ok. Yeah that is a little confusing lol. I've heard of SSO, but didn't know about SOS, but looking at both rn.

Not sure what SOS has for lead times at the moment but I ordered a rear bumper back during the beginning of December and the last update I got (10 days ago) was it was out for powdercoating.

I should add I have their sliders and was very impressed with fit, finish and overall quality.

Too many to list. I’m lazy
Just remember more than anything you have the right to choose the repair facility of your choice. They can’t tell you you HAVE you take it anywhere. That said, I would talk to Patrick and see if it’s something he wants to undertake and if he can do the work. Because if not it’ll just have to be towed again somewhere else.

Is the bumper that bad? Looked pretty intact in the photo. Don’t get me wrong, if they wanna write off I’d take the check too.

Bumper did take a little beating, I just spoke with some shops and chose one just now so once they get me an estimate we'll find out what they'll need to replace and all. But yeah if they're gonna pay for a bumper might as well pay a little to upgrade now lol

I would hit up Cory, get him to fab you up one from a kit brutha. Custom made and you get to put flow in your bros pocket.

That's true, you could probably get a weld-it-yourself kit pretty quick.
