How long did you have to wait for your 2021 factory order?

Hope it works out soon. My salesman says no damage. Had him check it. Tomorrow PDI will reveal hopefully all is welll on mine

 

No update on mine other than build was 1/15 for sure. Hopefully it hits rail soon

wife and I are going to a one car family, Do you think the wait times will be just as long when we place our order this spring we plan on getting a 4Runner?

 

It will depend on the build that you want, and how flexible you are when it comes to colors and certain options. I would suggest starting your research early and reach out to different dealers to see what they may have.
When I ordered my Tacoma my sales guy said “I’m glad you’re not ordering a 4Runner”
It may just come down to which region you’re in.

Thanks, you know coming from the car industry I just count my blessing and hope no delays occur. We are buying in the PNW so we have a few dealers to work with.

 

Depends on your definition of ‘safe’. The mothership tracks all. The DCM is also tied into the mic/stereo/remote start/wifi/nav/et cetera (;

You can call them and ‘opt out’ of the SOS stuff, but don’t think for one second it stops collecting info and talking with mothership.

 

Update on my 1/18/21 built truck. Showing 2/10/21 for delivery to dealer...we shall see.

 

I just made a deal on a 2021 OR that is allocated to the dealer already, but not scheduled for production until 2/26. Any idea what kind of impatient hell have I gotten myself into?

 

If you've got an allocation, maybe 2 months ish?

 

Mine was 13 weeks. I would just advise you to get the VIN # as soon as it is available. Hopefully you put down a deposit and it is considered sold. Otherwise, its up for grabs.

FINALLY.
After a 4+ month wait my AC MT OR is MINE.
I’ll post more pics tomorrow in other threads. Not yet done with the small customizations.
