I am supposed to meet with @Akal20874 Sunday morning to tune his truck. We are tentatively supposed to meet in Silver Spring, but I am going to see if we can adjust and meet at the Toyotas And Coffee meet instead.
Since he lives in Gaithersburg hopefully it works out better for him and it'll be a win-win.

 

yeah it’s still about 25 to 30 minutes away from Gaithersburg.

Saw a Jeep get the death wobble on 95 today. Looked pretty sketchy but the lady just slowed down a little then kept going. Looked pretty calm like it happens all the time

 

It wasn't a all stock black 4 door wrangler was it? Reason I ask is we had a lady customer in the shop last week and hers was doin the death wobble at highway speeds.

 

Nah it was a white wrangler

 

Squires on Dundalk Ave. That was my Dads favorite place. He lived on Boston Ave, right on the city /county line.

 

Looneys at Canton Square. Great food overall, not just bar food. It still has enough of that old "grit" that it draws a really fun mixed crowd.

 

I grew up just a block up from O'Donnell Square. I use to frequent Claddagh Pub.

Keep all the food reqs coming! Lol. Had box hill crab cakes the other month and loved it!

Been here about a year and half but haven't really explored the area due to COVID

 

My Dads parents, when they came from Poland, lived on Gulf St , right across from Patterson Park. My Mom's mothers last house was on S.Decker Ave. My roots are in Baltimore and I have less than zero desire to ever go back there, LOL

 

I work in Mt. Vernon. We go to mt. Vernon marketplace a lot. Bunch of options there. Lunch buffet at Kumari is pretty good if you like Indian food. And calzones at Iggies are tasty.

 

Angeli's Pizzeria on South High St. for pizza and calzones. Also Isabella's Pizzeria on South High St. for subs. Was really hoping that BBQ place that opened at Central and Bank was going to survive but the rehab of Central Ave. left them with no available parking and minimal access for patrons and they ended up shutting down. Office I work in (well before Covid) is at Fleet and Central. Lots of great food in that area or within a few blocks walk. Vida Taco Bar at Harbor Point is another.

 

Pasta Blitz in Middle River for their cheese steak stombolis. They also own Margaretas pizza in Bel Air but the Stromboli are just not quite as good. Bountempo in Bel Air also has great pizza. Enotria in Forest Hill and Olive Tree in Aberdeen for Italian.
