    I vaguely remember my dad's parents' 50th anniversary. How they did not manage to kill each other escapes me. Now I'm curious how long they were together before she passed. Maybe close to 70.

    It was one of the key reasons I moved down to Florida. #1 get the hell out of freezing Vermont. #2 get back to school and redirect my career. #3 buy a sailboat.

    I might buy a smaller boat before then, but I want to buy a catamaran in 5 years and circumnavigate. So technically I'll have a dog and a cat.
