It has been trending down. What have you heard?

 

My legit honest opinion: People are piling into it because GME has gotten too expensive. Lots of people with $1,000 brokerage accounts caught up in the hype thinking it's the next big thing and it has a decent amount of short interest. There's money to be made short term, and also in the very, very long term if the business comes back.

I'm not playing it at the price it's at right now.

 

Options are still not enabled for me since I didn't have any sort of understanding about them. Now I do.

 

NOK is a bust too...i wouldn't touch it.

I would not try to learn options with something like Gme. Find a penny stock that you like and try it out. You can find options for $1. I learned the hard cost. Cost me $20k

 

If nothing else, this is a great time to look at more mature, less startup-y financial institutions. RH seems super unpredictable, especially from the perspective of someone who is going thru regular brokers.

 

Hey guys, I want to get the hell out of Robinhood. After this week’s shady practices... I’m done.
The problem is I have a lot of shares of GME, and I heard if I try and transfer them Over To a new broker it could take a while in limbo. = I could get screwed if the squeeze happens.
Other option is selling and rebuying them on a new platform but I REALLY don’t want to let these leave my hand.
I might just have to stay with RH until the dust settles, but have a feeling once I try and sell the app might suddenly have “issues” or won’t allow me and I’ll get stuck holding the bag.
Any suggestions?

 

Bullshit. As soon as you cash out of GME get into AMC. Just do it before the 19th. My calls need all the help they can get. lol

 

I'm in it, but trying to figure out my exit plan.

do not sell your positions out of RH...transfer...for now you're stuck.
if GME..sell for gains...but do not sell otherwise...transfer

 

Yeah, I'd start there anyway. As I've said before, I've only invested $10 into my RH account and managed to turn it into $40 (before all of this anyway). I don't have the money to pay for a single call of GME.

 

Stay with them until you cash out of GME. It's not worth trying to transfer shares or funds. It's a lit fuse at this point.

 

So that's a no from me then
