Class actions always end up like $30 to each party with a claim.. That’s not my specialty but something tells me you’ll be better on your own. Not sure there but a hefty settlement from them would feel damn good.

Not that I know of. Every time I checked today/yesterday they weren’t limiting a thing. I can’t find the chart of all the other platforms percentage of trades through citadel but they were the lowest by far at ~30%. If you play options they are pretty much a must for me... App glitch/error? Call an account manager and you can exercise your contracts in 1 min

The best part is they picked Goldman to do the IPO listing. Goldman has an market cap of 1T give or take. Citadel is worth 40B. WSB vs the Market isn't going to be the only David vs Goliath battle going on. Goldman will for sure stop the work it has been doing for RH's IPO.

For sure. It won't be Citadel execs doing jail time. It will tarnish their reputation to the point that they will loose business and possibly go tits up though. Leeman Bro's was worth 60B when they went tits up because of the housing market BS. They had been around for 160 years and where gone in 6 months.

it's basically collateral for the trade you are making. you need to have X% of the trade in hand before a brokerage will let you make the trade.
high risk (i.e. high volatility) stocks require higher collateral to make your trade.

let's take just stocks...you have $100.
A single stock is $10.
You can buy 10 shares straight out.
the broker will let you buy 20 shares on margin (i.e. they will float you the money to cover those extra shares (for a fee, i.e. interest)).

 

Yep. But we can guess the fallout. Just follow the money and timeline. Mon Citadel bails out Melvin with 2.7B. Thursday RH, which Citadel owns 40% of, stops allowing buy orders on GME and other WSB securities. Friday Citadel starts a PR campaign that they had nothing to do with RH's decision making process. Friday GME starts to shoot north of $360 and suddenly RH places tighter restrictions on it? CITADEL LLC happens to be the market maker that has to back those now ITM options before they clear with the OCC.

Ray Charles could see that pattern.
