I was actually considering buying one of these but am on the fence still. Is your button seated all the way? Guess I better make up my mind by tomorrow as that is the last day for the TacoGarage group buy on these buttons.

Took some more precise measurements prior to 3leaf install. Wish I did this prior to Installing the truck cap so I knew what factory rake was

center hub to fender. Check out that 3/8” taco lean on an Empty (15 mile to) gas tank. I’m still stock suspension- would that 1/4” driver side top plate spacer work for me?

Thanks for the info. I remember torquing the u-bolts to 80ft lbs on my ‘17 (also from Headstrong). Yeah I don’t understand how know one else has had this issue either. Hope you’re able to either find the longer u-bolts like the stock ones or get the sumo springs notched so you can complete the install. Looking forward to seeing the end result with or without the sumo springs.

Think it would. That’s what I’ve seen used a lot here. Probably won’t be able to get equal measurements on both sides but should definitely be closer and no lean to the naked eye.

Most of the posts I seen (without paying much attention at the time) were that they were used when replacing the suspension because correct me if I read it wrong but factory accounts for this so driver and passenger sides aren’t the same. But with aftermarket they are the same so the spacer equalizes it.

Trying to recall it the 1/4” spacer gets I think 1/2” result. And lifting the driver will lower the passenger rear. That 1/2” would be good for me when you add a full tank then it may be dead on. I can definitely tell the lean, not bad, but I notice it. But does adding the spacer up front require alignment?

The following thread has some good information about stock vs. aftermarket (lifted) suspension. Hopefully it provides some clarification.

I used to write the answer and then the question (Jeopardy style) on the chalkboard at the beginning of class. I'd erase it 2 or 3 minutes in. It would show up on the exam, often as extra credit. And I would have mentioned it during the term, but it was all esoteric stuff, interesting tidbits, barely-more-than-trivia. I warned the class the first day. Those who took notes did fine. It paid to attend class and not be tardy.

One day, after a particular(ly hard) mid-term, I grabbed my flak vest and my K-pot and wore them to class. Someone snapped my photo.

I just read that after my post. The alignment question i had is a yes but everyone mentions 1/2” lift but no mention that it lift the opposite rear too. Before I get completely off track here, I should stay focused at the current task (aal/sumo), let it settle and take my measurements on all 4 corners and go from there. I have a huge problem jumping around. I have so many projects going on and none of them done (house, truck, personal etc) I can’t focus on just 1 always getting sidetracked just like this

KTJO bowl lights (all 4 doors) and the passenger one touch (required for the rear windows only).

All 4 bowl lights are in, and the rear passenger one touch switch modules are in. I didn't realize that my front passsnger window switch was already one touch (duh), so I have an extra, but no worries, I'll install it on a buddies truck (I only needed two of them, but ordered 3 by accident. Check your front passenger window switch for one touch before ordering). All were installed without removing the door panels by "fishing" the wires (be patient and careful with the small wires). Wow, what a difference!:thumbsup: BTW, the Ice Blue bowl lights seems to match OEM perfect. 1.5 hr. total install.

    Passenger window one touch modules:

    KTJO Rear Windshield One Touch:

Not trying to be a fanboy, but, after using this post for the connector, the one touch rear winshield switch took about 15 minutes to install. No more taking my eyes off the road to find (and hold) the rear window switch... It works awesome. Thank you for the picture @WaitingOnMyR1T , and * who shall not be mentioned for making the part.

Yesterday! This was interesting- I bought my my TRD Pro 3 months ago and have about a touch over 3000 miles now with my stock wranglers. I had a ever so slight steering wheel off center to the right didn’t bother me to much and it seemed to drive straight no pull etc... so last weekend put the new 285’s FW AT3W on and have put about 400 miles this week to see how the truck is riding with new the tires. So now I have noticed a definite steering wheel off center and a slight pull with the more aggressive tire. Called the dealership told them what was happening and they told me to bring it in for a alignment check. FYI my dealership told me for the first year or 12,000 miles if for some reason you think your alignment is off or you have a tire balancing issue it’s pretty much no questions asked and they do it. So, this was what my alignment was and now. Interesting to me how trucks come from the factory brand spanking new and the alignment was off like this.
So with that I add, if you recently purchased a new truck with or without adding new tires take your truck in and have them do a alignment for piece of mind.
Mine drives so much better now and I had no idea it was off.....

Amen brotha! Yesterday, I pulled my kick panel to work on some wiring. When I did, a small coil of white 16 awg fell out. It was run from the back of the cab and had yellow heat shrink at the tip.

I ran this for a reason, and marked it in yellow for a reason. I could not find where it lead to and for the life of me, I can’t remember what it’s for.
