Mine went down to 11-13mpg in the cold with M+W, after switching to another tune from this forum Im now getting 16+ no matter time of day. Im thinking of modding the 2.0 standard for AGM and CEL and giving it a try as I used to get 17-20 on regular basis. Most guys here want more power, not MPG.

You literally referenced us as clowns... then get upset I post a clown?
I asked you for help tuning because it says on your site to reach out when in need. You tell me it's not you're not obligated unless I upgrade to the pro package. The way you come across on many of your comments is demeaning. I'm not the only one that feels that way, but I'll certainly express it. In hopes, as a novice, you'll see my point of view. I still think 90% or greater of your customers bought this thinking it was something it's not. Myself included. And I really don't care that people are selling "my tunes" I don't own them. If I was concerned I wouldn't have shared them. It's nice to get the recognition, and of course compensation for the trial and error process is greatly appreciated. I put THOUSANDS of miles on my truck trying to figure out what this shit does... What's "common sense" to you, isn't necessarily common to us...

I ask a question. You give me an answer I don't understand. I'm damn near afraid to ask you anything because I can't figure out where that line in the sand is... My ignorance was then taken as trying to get a freebie and that didn't sit well with me.

Bottom line: I want to learn. For my sake, and to help others.

You releasing a performance tune would be more of an opportunity to learn, than simply benefitting from something I can flash. I want to compare what you did to what I've done, see what's higher, what's lower, and figure out why those changes make a difference.

If I could blend values from your 1.05 performance tune with my personal tastes in shift points, I'd be in heaven...

Yes I said that, because it felt this way when you closed my recent ticket with the issue I've dealing with since 2.0 release.
..and Highlander is feature on your page.

One thing I gotta say is that I submitted multiple support requests to get a tune file that doesnt produce a CEL with OVTunes catted dump tubes and each time I gotta a reply saying to reflash the standard one and that would take care of it, but each time the light would come back after a few miles. So I drove with a light on for half a year until Mooseditty17 helped me out and I got to learn how to do it myself. Whatever you guys say I got more support from a stranger than the company I paid $700 to for catted dump tubes to. Just saying.

You may be taking it that way but none of my posts are meant to be demeaning in any way.
But I am trying to get one point across. The goal of vF tuner is not to teach you how to be a tuner. And yes if you want personalized, individual help with tuning of tables, what values should be used, etc, that is what we offer to our pro users.

If you want help understanding tables, please post it on our forum and I'm happy to help.

If you flash a dump tube tune (p5f) it should not. But we also posted here that the ability to do so would be in vF and we would not be making the files for people. I can see that this post was probably not seen by you, and exactly why we made our own forum. Because stuff that we say or change gets buried here.

This is part of why we made our forum and are trying to stop using this one. It is very, very, very difficult to communicate where everyone sees it. This is my fault, and it's why I made my own forum.

vF Tuner supports many vehicles, including the lexus RC-F, lexus LC500, scion tC, Toyota 4Runner etc. It's a tuning tool for *toyotas.*
but to say I'm not interested in tacomas is dishonest.

You ask me for help and trash talk me the next post and you wonder why we don't answer your every ticket? lol....

What happened to the tune pack for 03-09 GX 470 on the website? I’ve been meaning to buy that. I’ll need it when I put DT long tubes on mine. Also, assuming the software will help with the inevitable CEL when deleting the cats?

it will return, along with some others after the next vF Tuner update.

it will allow you to download tune packs directly through vF Tuner, no longer requesting by email and waiting.

    excellent

I guess I need to check my ECU to make sure it’s supported based upon the list from your forum.

I think you're referring to a different PID than what he is talking about. Throttle Positioning Sensor maxes out around 82% but what he was referring to was the vehicle load which does not max out at 89%, vehicle load can go over 100% if you're romping it at higher RPM. This is something I'm trying to work through at the moment because it seems I cannot achieve 100% vehicle load at lower RPMs. I've tested two files that open the throttle at 29% and 81% at full demand 1600 RPM. MAF reads the same, vehicle load reads the same on both. RPM matches, speed matches, gear and TC status match. So it may just be that it cannot actually achieve 100% load at certain RPMs due to other limitations. The testing continues..

But I just didnt want want people to start running their loggers and asking why they arent hitting 89% as you mentioned. Wouldn't 89% throttle matching the degree also imply that 0 means the valve is completely closed?

I will reserve my judgement until your major VFTUNER overhaul and the revised 2.0 performance with map switching and guideance for adjustments are explained. It will be like a second Christmas for sure!
That was my all-time favorite tune except for the slight stumble start. That file with tip-in fine tuned is my ultimate goal.

So I went and jacked up the numbers in throttle Limit gear S tables for high angles . I got the sensor a bit closer to the accelerator and I open the plate by a whopping 1 point.
So, I already have Accel throttle request table set to a vertical line + changes to throttle limit table produced a minuscular gain, probably due to less gas in the tank.
I bet airload tables need a revision. thinking of moving the hump past 2400 rpms, but not sure what to do with Expected. I'll dive into fixing downshift to 4th at high speeds/loads.

I purchased VFtuner a little over a week ago directly from OVtune. After I got everything all set up I heavily browsed this thread, I messaged PapaRee for guidance. He was more than happy to help and share files, for this I thank him! (I think it's time I use your donation link ;). I am now running "Dacrusier 3.0" on my 2016 OR 3.5l, 33", w/ stock gears. The difference is phenominal, I am actually enjoying driving my truck at this point. Throttle response is about perfect, and my trans. is shifting better than it ever has! I really appreciate the efforts of OV and the individuals like PapaRee for putting in the work. Best regards, Dan
