    Hi
    I am new .
I have a 09 2wd with 15 inch rims. There are not many snow tires available for this size rim.

I produce maple syrup and in order to collect my maple sap I need to go down a town maintained dirt road in the late winter/early spring.

I love my truck and don't want to get a 4wd.

What I want to know is if I should get different rims with the same bolt pattern as the 15s
to get a better selection of snow tire , and what is a good snow tire?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can see info about our maple farm at Sugaroakfarms.com

    Karl.

Check out tire size.com for tires, there are 15 inch options, good luck! I'd get a 16 or 17 inch wheel.

there is ‘ marketing ‘ involved with phrases

    all terrain
    all weather
    mud or snow tyres

true some are better than others yet dont get caught in the nomenclature

where im from we use ‘ MUD GRIPS “ simply because the red mud makes EVERY other tyre USELESS !!!

U may not need that aggressive tyre
they arent that good at rock climbing........useless in sand or at the beach

yet winter environs Snow / Ice ......drifts they are hard to beat
farm use off road thru culverts ....creeks ..........trails & upland pastures

they come in a size to accommodate U

    mud grip tires

Hi Karl. Just posted a review of the 2021 NOKIAN Hakkapeliitta LT3 Studded Snow in the 245/75/R16 size for my Gen Three Tacoma which has worked really well for me. Check out the thread in this same Wheels & Tires forum. Might work for you if they come in your size. Good luck.
