    Gonna do this now and see if they have any I would pull the trigger on. This is a great idea and have seen the amazing work that Cory has done, I'd love to go that route.

    I’m going to sound like someone with no friends but what is mod day? In Atlanta somewhere?

    Basically people get together at one location to work on their tacomas, help others, and just hang around. There's a thread about it in the Georgia Section, and it's today in Woodstock

    I'm hoping we may have another one here in the next few months for the people who couldn't make it to this one, or didn't know. Maybe when it's a little warmer, and less rona out too

    I could host another one whenever you guys want. I don’t mind doing them, May or may not be home cooked BBQ this time. But could be. I can set up another thread in the next couple weeks if people have stuff to do.

    Really wish I could make one of these mod days. I’m always stuck working on the weekends. Maybe one day.

    Well i am the department head, lol
    The problem is I am being instructed to cut costs and run a skeleton crew. Finding good help to hire right now is like pulling teeth on a hen. I'm not going to find any. Restaurants and Hotels might be back open, but the hospitality industry is still feeling the wrath of Covid.

    @HashTaco

    as for the bumper, the painted piece on the outside is the "bumper cover." The actual bumper is a piece of aluminum that is underneath the "cover" and to legally drive in most states, you are only required to have a bumper. So if you decide to go the aftermarket route, there should be no legal concern of driving it with a broken bumper cover.

    You should be able to find an ARB that is ready to ship. They aren't custom fabbed and are mass produced. Plus, ARB actually tests their bumpers against animal impact and is one of the few bumpers that is actually tested during R&D. The only downside is the added weight. If you go ARB, expect to upgrade springs at a minimum.

    I'm really thinking about trading my 2008 off road access cab towards a 2013 off road double cab. Has anyone on here owned both the 2 gen and 2.5 gen before? Went from Access to 4 four door? With a bed extender, and I already have a trailer hitch extender to carry my 12 foot kayak I dont think I'll miss the bed space but I think I'll like having more dry space. Plus getting a trac seems pretty cool. Any thoughts or opinions are welcomed

    aside from the bumper and a few extra bells and whistles, the only real difference of note is the recirculation pump in the engine compartment. Just replace that foam filter and you won't have any issues.

    I would support getting more dry space.

    Thank you man. I'll need to read up in that pump and learn stuff. I conveniently love doing research.

    No...I have to admit this is funny as crap though! To be honest: I'm currently spending my energy trying to save my company from the Covid Market. But if that wasn't going on I'd surely be all in! But in all seriousness this is funny as crap! :thumbsup:
