So Techstream for 2nd Gen is basically useless?

    I have a 2011 with a g key. I need another fob. Can this program it with my other existing fob?

    So I got techstream also and the cable off Amazon and also had trouble getting it to work . I believe I used a older version I found on here and it ended up working for setting the tpms codes , but that’s all I used it for . You might want to make sure the computer you’re using it on has the right updates also ... just my .02¢

    Some TechStreams need windows Xp to work. I would highly recommend you all use A virtual machine like Virtualbox or VMware.

    Yea true ... I actually just went out and bought a old laptop for $80 on ebay to use just for changing tpms codes.

    the stealership wants $98 a sensor plus tax and 150 to programs them ! I got sensors off rock auto (denso ones !) for $30 a piece and did it myself for wayyyy less

    Make sure the FCC ID number matches. I bought the switchblade style key and use it all the time.
