Prices are higher on everything then just a few years ago. Groceries, cars, houses, widgets on Amazon, etc. are all going up in price. I stopped for a tiny breakfast burrito, donut, and hot chocolate this week, it was $11. Not to get political, but welcome to quantitative easing and rampant printing of money by both parties of our Gov’t. Unfortunately I believe it’s going to continue and accelerate with some of the policies being proposed. My next Tacoma TRD OR in three years may cost over $50K and the new Pro will be over $60K.

the price difference btwn used/new isnt much. if it was me and I was spending that much on a vehicle may as well spoil myself and buy brand new. mthly payments 9k say 60 mths extra +$150. pay for convenience you could get SR or OR then change parts but it all depends on you. its comes down to which one makes you more happy

This has probably been covered, but why in the world would you do a spray in bed liner in a composite bed?

I suppose if you move materials like wood, gravel etc it provide some benefit.

I mean, that’s the point of a composite bed.

Wait. Whats this about the Toyota app registering hard cornering/braking. I don't think my app has anything like that. It just tells me how much gas is in the tank, if there are any recalls and how to renew XM radio.

I am amazed you can find a dealer that 1) HAS a Pro Tacoma and 2) will sell it at MSRP instead of jacked up an extra 10K.

Where do I access/find that? Is there more than one app?

Do you have a manual transmission? You don’t get the other stuff with a manual. Mine only shows mileage, recalls, XM radio. Don’t remember if it shows gas level. However, the rest of the stuff I don’t get. I’d rather have the manual transmission than those features. Love my 6MT.

Yep. That's it. I too would much rather have the MT. But it is strange that it has to be either/or kinda like how the MT doesn't get the JBL.

I was wondering about the JBL. I have the premium package and advanced technology package and it says I have “Premium Audio,” so exactly what does that mean?

    Here we go again...

Regardless of capability, a Pro yields higher returns. It's not always about what could be modded for cheaper.

Just for reference, I have a 2018 TRD Pro and a 2018 TRD OR so I know about the pros and cons of each. Not everyone can afford the premium price of a new Pro at time of purchase.

Right here in Post #9, the OP clearly states that money isn't an issue and given all the extra bells & whistles that are standard on the Pro (that he seems to appreciate), should make his decision easy.
