Why didn't you use the holes in the quickfists to mount them? Or is this a test fit?

just test fit since i don't have the 4" or 6" tube on hand for the time being. Once i load the backrack and lock it in place on the back of the truck (and a few other mods) i'll be able to see what it'll truly look like, then i'll plan to build those later.

That’s a nice piece however I’m looking for a side-by-side set up to lay across the back of the bed with the two storage containers on each side… Photo to come

Pretty good shape for mine. Undecided whether to leave as is, redo in OD green or bedline it

Oh wow! Those are in rough shape compared to the ones I got last year which I ended up painting red. The insides were nice and clean just like yours are which was nice. Mine are stamped FFA which from what I found were French military stationed in Germany (Forces Françaises en Allemagne).

How did you use this? Can it attach inside the bed easily or does it require a bumper?

My vote would be to rattle-can it black or gray or silver to match your truck colour after you clean it up with a little bit of TLC prep before spraying.....Quick coat of primer would be a good start.

@Saturnine You have a great colour theme going with your truck especially with the black soft topper, door handles, rims and fender flares!

The bedliner idea is very interesting but perhaps it might be tricky to apply with all the little crevices?

Good thing this is a BS thread gentleman as I’ve been posting quite a bit...... laid up with a hand injury The last few days and TW has been part of my recovery entertainment.

page 1800 is a milestone

This is my truck all detailed up in 2017 sitting on 31×10.5 old school BFG AT’s and 93 T4R rims I painted. I have only taken my camper shell off twice in 10 years and this was one of the times.

This picture was taken one month before I sucked a deer through the radiator and I then added the ARB Bumper when I rebuilt the front end.

I'm thinking you shouldn't paint them black. Attracts a lot of heat, unless they will be out of the sun.
