Currently I am leaning to the Eibach Pro 2.0 kit (2.5”)... Originally, I wanted the Bilstein/RC 6100 kit (3”). Either way, adding Camburg UCA’s. It’s a brand new truck with 4K miles, I don’t wanna f it up. I don’t do any serious wheelin’ except very light trails if going camping or fishing. 95% pavement princess... ha ha ha!

    thanks again!

2.5” lift actually works better on the CV angles. Better fit for the Tacoma.

On that pro Comp it was a true 3” lift and the cv and tie rod angles were steep. I’m gonna have to replace the tie rod bushings soon, they are cracked.

I feel 2.5"-3" lift is the sweet spot for Taco's. My front is about a 2.75" lift I guess. I got a little nerdy with my front lift so I ended up using a 3/8" spacer on the drivers side and a 1/4" spacer on the passenger side (taco lean correction along with a 1/2" spacer on drivers side rear), in conjunction with Bilstein 6112's. I did not want to run my shocks close to the top notch for adjustment because I wanted a bit more downward wheel movement for articulation and less chance of the shocks topping out. So, to test a theory I installed shocks without springs so I could check how much movement upward I could go without bottoming out shocks. Turns out with some thin spacers on top (3/8" & 1/4") the suspension can still get full upward travel no problem without bottoming out the shocks. Thus, with thin spacers on top of the front shocks I have about 1/2" further downward travel in conjunction with full upward travel.

I also had custom 1" longer stainless brake lines made for the front and Wheelers long stainless brake lines on the rear.

And for the rear end I added a 3/8" spacer to the Bilstein 5160 shocks just to give them a bit more downward articulation. I have Dakar leaf packs which are thicker than OEM leafs. Thicker leaf packs add thickness/distance from the bumpstop to the shock mount so adding a small spacer on the top stud of the shock is not a problem for bottoming out issues. And a wee bit more downward articulation is pretty cool IMO!

I hope this explanation of my set up is sufficient!

No rub daily driving but yeah some when i stuff the tires. I ripped a rear flare off a month ago but i was a little heavy on the throttle! I trimmed a lot off the lower front flares both in front of the tire and some behind. I also had to modify the plastic liners a lot but was able to keep them.

2.5 being the lowest notch right? also, what are running in the back? I also have a camper shell and will most likely run Eibach's. Nice looking truck.

Been watching this thread as I'm hoping to go from a 1.75" to 3" lift and from 31.5" to 33" tires.

It's crazy to me how different every setup looks, judging by pics it seems almost like everything between 2-3.5".

On 285-55-20's that came on the truck, I'll go 285-70-17 next time around.

If that's from the center of the hub to the fender flare, you've got 3.5 to 4" of lift going on. What do your cv angles look like, I'd be worried about them.

'15 Sport. 2" front and 4" rear. The rear is extra heavy with Deaver stage III leaf packs, Bilstein B110's, and Archive Hammer hangers for towing our tiny camper. 17" Tundra wheels and 33" Cooper St Maxx 255/80/17 tires. Truck rides great and handles really well. Coopers have about 60k miles on them. It was built for function not looks.
