What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

I need to get some pics still, but I installed my new laser engraved mag release and dust cover. Also installed my YHM slant compensator. Figured if is is going to be a range gun I will always have ear protection in so why not keep it as tame as possible to shoot. Not going to be a hunting gun, just a precision shooter.

 

Picked up a super 42 buffer and buffer spring

 

Nice! I'm in base class with a 457, but building a RimX for open next season.

 

Let us know how you like it, I just saw that the other day and thought about trying it out.

 

Over or under gassed?

 

Finally got it home. 7 mags (10 rounds each) and 300 rounds of 5.56 coming this week.

 

I have run these in my last two builds and they have been flawless.....

 

Never under gassed .......

 

The only downside too these are that the spring will not accommodate another manufactures standard buffer.

Thats the only reason I bought them. These were part of a trade deal on a firearm at the LGS and I happened to be in the right place at the right time....

 

I did get the guys # as he is getting rid of a lot of accessories and stuff as he is moving and wanting to lighten the load I guess

I went to 2 different Academy sports stores in the south/eat Louisville area and the only ammo in stock at both stores was 28 gauge and 12 gauge turkey loads, the first store had about 15 boxes of 5.45x39 so I went ahead and picked those up.
Now I gotta make a list of gun stores in the area who will be open after i get off of work (working 6 10's) so I can try to find some .410 ammo for a family member.
