The start of a new project...

 

Flooring?

 

Yep... This is the laminate. But the entire house is getting new flooring. Main rooms, hall, and 1 bed is laminate. 2 baths and laundry is tile. 3 beds carpet. Also with all new 5 1/4 baseboard.

Plus replacing hall and master fiberglass tub/showers and tiling the surrounds and replacing the bath countertops and sinks, and toilets.






Truck fund is looking pretty dismal.

 

Out with the old

 

You're going to be busy, bathrooms are alot of work depending on what you do.

No tile for us ever again!

Finishing up the first bathroom this weekend. Few pics

 

That turned out nice!

We're diving in on this. New tub/shower in the hall bath, new shower pan in master, surround tile to ceiling, floor tile... we're refacing the cabs with new door and drawer fronts, and we're going to be doing concrete countertops in both baths.

 

Looks good.

 

Friends are remodeling their kitchen with cement countertops and it's turning out nice. But it's been a long project and they took it slow to get it right, the house is pretty old.

These kind of projects take awhile when you work full time and other projects/needs pop up along the way!

Will take a break and start the second bathroom in a few months. Plan is to sell in 4-5yrs and move out of state!

Yup those were some good times!!! I'll be there for the next 4 years at least. Moving to the Vacaville area. I can't wait to be close to home again.
