I installed some @MESO goodies today and I have to say that those ultimate map lights can not be truly appreciated by looking at pictures. I always looked at install pics people would post and think, yeah those are brighter, but they are just a bit brighter, no big deal, right? Well let me say that just one Meso ultimate map light powered on, lights up the interior of the truck more than both the OEM map lights and OEM dome lights did combined. I also attached a couple of his limited patches and am very happy with all of it. I’m debating getting the ultimate dome lights when in stock again, but I’m not sure if I really want or need my cab to be a lighthouse at night.
The second pic was taken to show how bright those lights are. Taken at 11:00 PM without using a flash. Very impressed! Pay no attention to the mess or my Mickey Mouse Pajama pants.

 

I did minor trimming on the inside plastic liner when I first got it installed. I rubbed on the cab mount full lock on reverse (driver side) only. Got aligned and they maxed out my caster forward and no rubbing at all after all = No CMC I got lucky on that one

 

@3Six Excellent idea. After I finish the radio mount tomorrow, I'll duplicate your move.

 

They sent me the wrong patch. I hope I hear back from them soon.

 

That sucks. You will hear back I’m sure. They are a great company to deal with as long as you are patient.

Got the KTJO handle and door lights in today. Quite like how it’s feeling. The ice blue is a nice match to the factory colour. The handle is solid. Not quite OEM in the fit , but close. I really missed that handle from my ‘12.

I have a bottle jack also but use the safe jack extensions and pad. https://safejacks.com/products/safe-jack-bottle-jack-recovery-kit-without-bottle-jack. Heavy duty and cheaper than getting an off-road floor jack, unless you have sliders or steel bumpers then you can use a hi-lift jack.

 

Yea I had those on paper included. It didn’t say in the Toyota leaf removal but it wasn’t about taking the pack apart either.

to update on my ubolt situation- the ome replacement wouldn’t even sit flat on the stock bump stop so I had to reuse the factory bolts (had 7 threads on each). Since I had the factory ubolt out I tested on the sumo springs and they wouldn’t sit flat either (maybe 1/8” but there was definitely a gap). I’ll have to contact both for the ubolts and sumos
