:spy: Shhhh, that was supposed to be between us.
    Oooh, sounds fun.
Where I work I am tested once a week, others are tested 3 times, some are tested every day. The turn around for the results are 24 hours and they send an email saying you’re good. If someone tests positive, it goes to the Covid Team and they notify the person and this takes longer. This means the person has continued working for about 2 days before they are sent home.
    See my answer to Mike.
We’ve had a whole production shut down and send everyone home in the middle of the day because they found out someone’s test, they took two days prior, came back positive.
    :goingcrazy:
    :quickdraw: Shit I hope not!!

    @Tacoma Mike

Took my RAV4 to the dealer today for its 1 year service and imagine this......

I took the few things I had in it out so they had a nice clean vehicle to work on. Great bunch of guys I dealt with today.

Poison oak on the west coast, I am non-reactive to it. Found out after standing in a patch for about an hour.

Poison ivy in the east, I've seen that shit kill trees.

Today my wife and MIL invited to me to an estate sale. I was looking for a Frigidaire upright frost free freezer to replace our dead Frigidaire chest freezer. Seems the pandemic has made it hard to even find a used name brand one. Anyway, house was in a nicer affluent neighborhood. Guy was a former Navy service and had history working on turbine engines for Westinghouse. Guess his health was not so good and it was time for him to move towards his next chapter in life.
Seeing people rummaging through his personal belongings and trying to find deals that he’d spent his life collecting saddened me. Felt like i was another vulture on a carcass.
I ended up getting a nice commercial grade freezer among some other items, but felt I needed to say a prayer for him and his family. Circle of life I guess.

I felt that way when I was cleaning out my folks' place and my sisters place. What gave me the right to throw things away that meant something to them...... shed lots of tears while doing that for both of them.

Took my snowblower up to my parent's house and presalted their driveway today, all in anticipation of this coming snow storm. Spent a little while talking to Mom about Dad's progress. My brother, two sisters, myself, and mom had a meeting yesterday with the rehab doctors, therapists, etc. They said this past week his motor function progress has plateaued, therefore it was time to begin looking at moving him to a skilled nursing facility for continued therapy. This rehab center that he is at is considered an "acute" rehabilitation facility that is for patients fresh out of the hospital for rehab therapy for a few weeks until the patient is either well enough to return home or until their progress shows a plateau. We all really want him to be able to stay there since he really likes the nursing staff and they really enjoy working with and taking care of him. When we told him about having to consider moving to another facility soon, he seemed a bit down about it.
Today, my brother was with him during this evening's visiting hours and said during the 1.5 hours he was there that dad, for the 1st time since his accident almost a month ago, moved his left arm. TWICE! Hopefully that cancels out his "plateau" designation and will be allowed to stay there a bit longer

Thanks. We hope so too! Really would rather him stay where he is until ready to return home. We're afraid his positive attitude would diminish if he were moved to a nursing facility where there is no visitation allowed during this pandemic

i know it’s a small thing however, it’s so much easier. I had to move a white jacket from the front seat of a car for a recall. I had been in the shop on brakes etc all day. I got one of the asm’s to move it.
About 3 pm we are walking dirt streaks no matter how careful we are.
Personally i can’t thank you enough.

People do that for a living.
To them it’s only stuff to make money.
Sad but like you said, circle of life.
    Everything goes away.

My wife can stand it all day long and doesn't get an itch. Her son, my step son, gets it bad several times a year as he cuts wood for his furnace. I am allergic too but can recognize so I stay away from it.
