For anyone doesn’t know about or was curious about the Black Sheep Audio sound deadening kit from runnin4tacos. It’s a pre cut template for the doors-inner and outer panels, and behind the rear seat. They are NOT a perfect fit in some areas by any means but it’s a hell of a lot better job than I could’ve done. It’s pricey but the time savings alone was worth it to me. They even threw in some extra sound deadening material, a set of panel removal tools, and a roller. Nice touch.

I hear you. I'm leaving the politics out. I'm just commenting on the strong vexillology. Handsome color scheme, recognizable from far, simple symbols... I can say the same thing about the Southern Cross. Delaware might be the worst.

Do you find it oddly satisfying to open and close your doors now?

Seeing this makes me feel good about the job i did a few days ago.

Didn't do anything to it today but it is our 3 year anniversary together. Financed for 5 years at .9% and making extra payments. Only one payment left and it's payed off. Not as fast as others but glad I knocked 2 years off of the payments. Good feeling knowing I actually own it. :)

    Edit. before and after

That looks good. I’m jealous not only the blackout but how clean the interior is. My poor truck is awful. The salt and crap I have tracked in has made it a mess. Hurry spring and come I just want to have a clean truck.

Installed TRD headlights, fog lights and rear lights. Was able to do the headlights with a conversion kit from theretrofitsource. I had to remove the bumper and that’s what took the longest, about a three hour job. 18BDBA87-E8D4-4F6C-ADA6-1AEA7F3C6EEF.jpgD4A79F0F-E516-481F-827F-1B4B9159EA51.jpgE77F3F52-88D6-4792-9832-30AD8912F903.jpg72A265AC-23B1-45C4-9480-F3E576642FA9.jpg

    i know what you're referring to :)

actually have two more to do, the steering wheel logo and the glovebox lock. if they made them in all black they would've been done already, and right now i don't feel like going the overlay or sticker routes...

thanks! it's hard to keep a black interior clean, it shows dirt, dust and everything else very easily.

I have the black interior also and no matter how careful I am to keep the windows up on the dusty fire roads leading to the trails as soon as I open my door it’s like a vacuum effect and just sucks in the dust. o_O Once I’m out of the truck and I shut the door it’s like a big cloud of dust, kind of reminds me of Pigpen on the old peanuts cartoons.:rofl::rofl: I usually end up wiping everything down at least once a week.

Just installed the sound deadening in the doors. Did you guys put the plastic back on? The stuff that was attached with that black rubber adhesive. Looks like it was the original sound barrier (with the carpet) but would it do any harm if I didn't put that plastic back on?

Also, I've searched and watched vids and can't tell if people do both sides of the inside of the door. (If that makes sense). Basically you reach inside the door and do the back wall but there is the side facing you inside the door, then I did the outside of the door. Is it redundant to line both sides of the inside of the door?
