I have seen some good posts about remedies for the air conditioner only working on high. I am going to replace my resistor. Do I need to buy the resistor and harness kit? Or is there just a resistor I can buy and will it work? And thank you in advance for your knowledgeable replies

Examine the existing bits first. Suspect you'll find reason to buy both.

Regardless, my approach would be to buy and replace both.

Was this an easy fix? Just noticed I'm having the same issue. Thought it was out completely then I turned it on high and it worked fine.

It runs through resistors for all speeds but high, so when the resistor is shot, only high works.

Always disconnect it first and check the connector. It's a big white plug underneath the glove box near the blower.
