No. I talked to the RSI rep and he told me they plan on designing the locks and the replacements would be user servicable.

Gotcha. What I really want is a Evo Adventure but have the small window of the Evo Sport. It doesn't have to be an actual window to see out of but I want to be able to have the small sliding opening for venting while I sleep back there or my dogs. I'm wondering if I could get someone else to alter/fab it.

Would someone be willing to post a photo of the cap directly from the back with only the sides open? I'm curious how much room there is on the sides of a rack. I'm trying to see how much a rack can stick out on either side while being able to open the sides fully.

    Nice, I’m excited.

Maybe once these are both back in stock there will be a trading network of people that want one solid and one window panel.

Not a whole lot, I'll take a picture when I get home. I asked a local dealer if the full size load bars would fit on a midsize truck and the glass hits the side of the cross bar.

I wonder seeing how bad things are in South Africa from the pandemic how this will effect their ability to produce.

3/4 ply padded and carpeted on 20"x36"x8" Dunnage racks. I built little runner blocks that slide in the bed channels and lock the 60" pieces of 1x6 to the bed and runners on top to keep the racks from moving.

I call it version 1.2, going to redo it with 1/2" ply at some point and do 3 width sections so I can run it in pieces if I want. Super stable and pretty light

Here's my build thread, platform spills over to page2

Well I read through this entire thread, and finally saw a pic of the rsi on an access cab. Has anyone in Ontario bought one? Where is the best place to order from in Canada?
Would love to see a pic of the cap on a white aclb.

the evo A I just got had a manufactured date of 10/29/20 and from what offroad alliance makes it seem like these just hit US shores so that almost 3 months between build and when they can be shipped to final customer

I just put a Smart Cap on a 6' bed. Install was easy and I would recommend having a second set of hands to keep it moving efficiently and also helping set it properly. No complaints so far after a week of running. It is a little on the dark side on the interior so I am looking to add some lights to make it easier to see. I also have a Decked system in the truck and was worried about how much space would be left between the top of the Decked and the box but happy to report there is plenty of space for what I need. I have read on other forums that the light harness for the integrated brake light was a pain in the butt and I can confirm that my harness did not come ready to plug in play. I am going to have to suss out how to make that work but otherwise super stoked. Like some other posters, I am scratching my head to figure out what to do with those M8 holes in my top to utilize the space. Looking forward to seeing what others do!

Let me know how it works out for you. I'm still unwired because my harness was DOA. I tore it down, grounded it on the frame, and spliced into the blue driver's side brake light wire, but still got no love. Haven't been able to get further than that since it's so damn cold and windy outside.

To each their own... I have a SnugTop GB Sport and while I like it (functionally and aesthetically), I’ve run into a few issues trying to fit stuff because of the low-clearance opening. That and my third brake light got owned by Oregon rain. So, I’m with you on modularity.

I think this one might look better if it was color-matched? I don’t know. I also think it looks better on the 5’ bed.
