Yeah that and i dont like the idea of hypothermia if for some reason you fall through the ice. I seen some guys go out on sketchy looking ice. Not this guy though

I’ve been a few time with friends in AK but they had the fancy fishing shacks. Even had grills outside.

When I was younger, my 20s I fished on ice that later I ask myself what was I thinking.
Local fishing clubs will plow roads out on the lake when the ice is thick enough. They'll also set bridges over the cracks.

I’ve got a little body of water behind the house called Otter Chain Pond, there is about 11” of ice out there now. It’s not super deep, only 12-15’ in the deepest spot. We were a few feet off bottom I guess. Didn’t catch anything but I wanted the kiddo to go out for a bit.

Wow! I was just yesterday talking to my cousin about this, then I see our order filter light is on our fridge. Cousin said his replace filter light came on after 2 months!
I think the wife reset ours 2x before I ordered a 2 pack. Iirc, 2 pack was near $80.00 which seems correct, cousin said his was 50.00 for one

I think the one time I’ve replaced ours it was around $50, we’ve had the fridge for 10 years :anonymous:

I never hooked up my new fridge.
    Don’t need it.
Less chance of a leak also

You guys and your fancy refrigerators that make ice. I have to put water in trays and freeze mine like a regular person. If I want to be fancy I'll just fill them with Figi water or something  I have to keep trays in both fridges in case of a dinner party. They give me funny looks when I pull the trays out

If you break out n dust off some 20s and get a new one, please for show and tell, take the old one to 3 finger willy bandsaw and post pictures. I just kind of get sketched out a bit picturing what a dirty old filter might look like. Might not be bad at all:rofl:

My folks got a new fridge that has an ice maker. I neglected to notice this fact as I was trying to get ice for a drink. I'm searching all through the freezer for the plastic tray with cubes that's been in there my entire life. Finally asked my dad where it was, I think he questioned if I was actually his son for a minute.
