Bout an 1-1/2" right now here in the mountain valley. Temps going between 28°-30° so it's sticking to the driveway and street although where I drove on it earlier is just wet pavement. Glad I decided to make room in the garage for the truck. It's an absolute disaster covered in salt and slush, but atleast I don't have to brush snow off of it! Gotta go over the mountain Tuesday so hopefully they'll have it all cleared up by then.

I thought I got out plenty early this morning to get the kombi gassed up and pick up some stuff at the hardware store. Darn if the roads weren't coated before I got back. It's been sub-freezing around here for days so the brine they put on EVERY SINGLE DANG ROAD even out here in the boonies is doing jack. I found out how well the kombi does in the slick stuff, let's just leave it at that! Home warm and ready for whatever now. Let it snow.

I added up the various totals in the forecasts for our little hill. We should get anywhere from 6" to 29". Way to go forecasters!

Yeah, I was at work and was hearing how there was like a line that started at Mill Hall. Got one guy that drives from Monument and one from Renovo.

120 wasn't bad when we were on it coming into Lock Haven but up on the tops the snow was coming down good. We were in Mill Hall around 9 this morning and it wasn't to bad. Safe travels some the township roads were a little icy

Looked like that at work. I've got about 1.5-2" here at the house.

We have about 2 1/2 to 3 inches to date. It was powdery this morning but the last bunch I shoveled off the deck and sidewalks were more of a heavy, wet type.

Today was a good day! The baby got to play in the snow for the first time today and I built a snowman, had a snowball battle and did some sled riding with my 6 year old daughter. I love when it snows on the weekends that I’m off.

All right snow... I'm ready, I guess...
In addition to a 30 year old MTD snowblower I have this old workhorse too.
1973-5 Ford LGT 145, built by Jacobsen. Kohler K series 14 HP engine.
I got my first one about 25 years ago, up to about 6 of them now -- this one currently runs so it is my favorite.
I have plowed uncountable tons of snow with these over the years.
