1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

How’s everyone doing?

 

I am going to do the same thing. On my 1st gen It use a small tank inside the bay next to where the crus control is. It looks like this. Ill take a picture of it after i clean off the truck. Its kinda buried rite now.

17s are the base model size. I got a premium so it came with 19s. They look nice but ik my girl gunna curb them.

 

I haven't paid attention from the top down how it sits in the 4R.

Here's a pic from the wheel well area with that plastic piece gone -



It won't rub at all but I don't want it so exposed if I drive over shit that gets kicked up and punctures it or something.

 

You got rid of the plastic?

 

See the top right corner and right side?

Tabs broke where they're held in place with plastic clips and shit -



This sits over the reservoir, but protrudes a lot hence the rubbing.

 

So you still have the plastic by the door? I hate having a hole right there

 

good finally got a day off. time to shovel.

 

Pretty sure @eon_blue has a hole there too.

4R doesn't rub towards the front of the door where you guys do the pinchweld -

 

My 4runner has that same set up and the plastic has tire rub on it. I pulled it all out when I was fixing the core support.

I don't know if it has to do with the tie rod difference that the wheel is located slightly forward.

I tucked a tiny little tank in the engine bay next to my i take.

but I didn’t have any other spots because i have abs and cruise control

 

I have the front loosely put together, but the weather will slow down this month.
