People don’t understand how even “regular “
Mgmt fees eat so much profit over 30 years it’s insane

if I invest in a fund majority of time it is vanguards. The guy that started it was sick of high fees and keeps them lowest of most all around.

I have an excel spread sheet that will blow you mind like like the snippet above about how much people give away in fees when compounding happens over 20-30 years

    it will make you sick

FZROX is awesome but it’s a fund not an ETF so I can’t buy it no-cost on TD. My HSA is in it though.

I just buy VTI. 0.03 ER, on TD. Once I leave my current job I’ll roll the 401k to a traditional IRA in TD. Same deal. VTI for everything.

I’m in SPLG just as a hold over. Once I get 100 shares I’ll do covered calls until it goes and then park that in VTI.

I have 100 shares in NOK. I'm stuck contemplating my next move with it. I'd love for it to shoot back up where it has been, should've let it go then.

This is true with every aspect in life though. You pay a premium for specialists. Don't like it, spend the time and resources and educate yourself to do it yourself.

I have 95% of my 401k in VINIX 0.02% management fee
    And 5% in VSCIX

here are the top holdings of VINIX

these are mutual but I guarantee they have ETFs with the exact same holdings as Vanguard has a large amount of ETFs and I hold several others in my Roth and Traditional IRAs one being VFH that I purchased when the market tanked last year

Futures open in 17 minutes. That will give is a minute idea of what tomorrow has in store for the broader market.

I more so pissed that I was so focused on $GME I completely missed the chance to get out of $GNUS...That's only 300 shares but it's been a bought too high dog...

I'm also green on SQQQ and SDOW so if they rise, it ratchets up...If they fall (dow goes green) I sell and get my profits

    keeping jersey dirty
Yea i don't see them disappearing because of the drastic amounts of things oil is used for besides fuel, like nearly everything plastic/paint. But they mighta taken an arrow to the knee. hard to discuss further so my account doesn't as well. No point in pushing that limit it'd probably be an echo chamber here anyway

I bought an option sometime two weeks ago and solid it Monday. Completely unrelated to the recent shenanigans I just happened to decide to grab NOK. 225% gain i high tailed it out of there. It was like 70 bucks.

I have 100% in VTI, HSA and 401k are managed via fidelity/work so I’m stuck there. HSA is 100% FZROX and 401k is 100% in a fund without a ticker, it’s a 0.01% vanguard SP500 fund.

there are many ways to skin a cat. Pick one and be consistent. Mine is something I’ll do for 25 more years for my bridge and 35+ years for my retirements. It’s simple, one fund. Second fund is just a gimme in the meantime when I have say 150 to buy shares but VTI is 200.

I saw one that was similar, POTATO_IN_MY_ASS or something.

i have mission control at work. 3 monitors. At home I just have 1 and a laptop docking stations so, 1.5 or so. I’m one of the weird people that has a portrait monitor at work. Old gig everyone had one. I came here and only my boss who hired me had one. Okay brown noser  I read specs all day long. It’s a heck of a lot better for that.

Early futures only medium angry. Volume is pretty big though so that could change in either direction very quickly.

The reason to do this would be to catch it before they fall below your buying point?

Yup. Silver is a rare metal. Rare metals almost never go down in price, so short selling it makes little sense. Someone is trying to drive their hoard up in value.
