I’m going to be buying the GX tune pack from OVTune... going to see if it’s possible to completely disable SAIS within the software along with the rear o2 sensors. :fingerscrossed:

If not, I’ve been talking with Hewitt on what I need to do to completely remove the entire SAIS system when I pull the engine...and I mean remove it ALL. There will be nothing left other than two plugs on the engine wire harness.

Finally got a min to over the notes from my alignment; the front cam bolts are seized and bushings are shot. Steering rack also has some play.

I’m wondering if the play in the steering rack is causing the vibes at highway speed sometimes.

still got pretty impressive numbers all things considered.

You can definitely fit 34’s with a good CMC. I didn’t go too aggressive because I’m pretty confident that I won’t go bigger than 33 on this vehicle.
If you want to go with a more aggressive cut for max clearance, I would remove the side steps in order to get better access with a grinder/cut off wheel.

Anyone seeing any snow today? It's coming down fairly hard here in Knoxville right now but I don't think we're supposed to get any real accumulation. The upper elevations are going to see ~8". I'd love to take off work tomorrow and find some FS roads to drive around.

frame is gonna rot now that you've had it in the snow.

Give you $5 for it before it needs to head to the scrap yard.

I was installing some new battery terminals and dropped a bolt, bent down and then saw all the grease blown up on the frame and LCA from my torn CV boot. Great.

I have just decided to reboot it myself. Anyone rebooted a CV? The videos and diy guides I’ve seen make it look relatively straightforward as long as there are no snags with any components being seized together.

Going with an allpro high angle boot kit.
