Just got my c clamp I ordered the other day, the set you asked about.

I was discouraged when Amazon didn't deliver it last year so I said fuck it I don't need UCAs right now.

Only thing I don't care for is removal of the UBJ from the spindle...

Don't do it while the spindles are on the truck with a c clamp press deal like I did my first time with my tacoma

 

Yeah I've always defended RTTs and still do, but for me it just doesn't really make sense anymore. Toting that thing around all the time when I only use it a few times a year is nuts, and I don't have a good place to store it at home.

Yeah they are still around, highly recommend. Especially over Dakars. Gonna cost twice as much though

Well, you can't run Kings really with any leaf pack that gives you a lift.

King rears are really short as they're meant for an OEM-replacement; this is true on 1st Gen Tacoma's at least.

Plus, I wouldn't even recommend 2.5 coilovers up front unless your driving really warrants their use....unless you just want something shiny.

 

He can he'll just have to special order them from King, but ya those rear ones sold by retailers are for 1" lift max or something like that.

By then, it's not even worth going custom rears of *any* brand if you're not going to do a rear shock relocation.

Spend that much for a mere 8" of travel?

Naw.

I'd be shooting for that 12-14" shock in the rear if I had a Tacoma.

 

They'll send you an email questionnaire with a bunch of inquiries about your usage, weight, how much lift you want and how much weight you carry, etc. They are very thorough and the result is much better than any mass produced leaf pack imo
