Unfortunately, we just don't get the bandwidth. On a " good" day I'll get a download of 600Kb and an upload of 400Kb - not Mb. If there are a lot of people on the line in front of me using the service well....something less. We do have Amazon Prime hooked up and access to Netflix - it just takes awhile to get anything. But, it's better than nothing.

I used my blower a lot in Casper - gave it away to move to AZ. While up there, I used to take the skids to work and put new "hardface" dots on them and buildup the wear points every September. As well as the oil change and lube. The wind on the side of Casper mountain was so "brisk" and never ending - you just aimed the discharge straight up .............

There's always bourbon. Fills the gaps nicely. ;)

Absolutely. The pool, the porch, the fireplace, a good book. They all fill the time nicely. Oh, and a glass of bourbon, a beer or a Gin and Tonic always help. Life is good!

A little something every chance we get.
I just watch it melt...... You do NOT drive in Central Texas when anything white is on the road. At all. I have, I can, but your ability to dodge is immensely hindered.

We just love to marvel at the few flakes we get. I grew up for 25 years in Michigan, and survived all the "Great Blizzards Of (insert year of choice)"!

(I think when I was a kid, they didn't even mention it. Then it was "by year", NOW, they name every storm!)

Ya' know, fixing to have home made fried chicken tenders from the air pot, home made cottage fries from the oven, and Kraft McCheese as the "side". Carbs mean sleep!
Wife hates when I picture food, but I just might anyway!

I don't go out in the snow if I can avoid it.... these knuckleheads around here don't know how to drive in it. Grew up in CT and got my license during a snow storm and lived in the great white North for 3 years, where there was snow on the ground for about 6 months of the year.

Good morning all! 2 to 3 inches of light powdery white stuff so far - started around noon yesterday. I'll head out at first light to clear for the firt time. We are forecasted to get 12 to 18 inches so I'll probably clear at least twice today and then again tomorrow, depending on how fast it falls. It sure helps to be retired and not have to worry about going out - just have to get down the hill to check on Lynn's mom and we can walk that if needed.

    Stay safe and warm!!!

Got to work at 4:30 and my company ID wouldn't open any doors at my reporting location.
Called boss and he said turn around and go home, nobody goes on the road today.
I-95 is getting sporty with several spinouts already.
I can count on less than 1 hand in 38 years how many times I got sent home due to snow. I'm not complaining.:cookiemonster:
