That's the place. How long did he keep your 'runner for? Was there any "issues" with your 'runner when you got it back that it didn't have when you dropped it off?

How well is the Saf-T Cap repair sleeve holding up? My biggest concern is how he was planning to locate the center line of the bolt hole for the lower control arm. He never really gave me a great answer, just that he uses a tape measure and gets them "pretty close". When I helped a buddy install 2 repair sleeves on his daughters TJ over the summer, we made a locating jig so that when the repair sleeve bolt hole lined up with the locating jig, we knew that it was in the right location. When I explained this to the guy, he just had a glazed look on his face, as if he didn't understand what we were doing, so this has caused me some concern.

Hi, weird question. Anyone running big tires locally? I'm trying to see just how much I'd have to cut before I pull the trigger on a set

Does someone here work at LR Wilson? They did a great job on my project (I work for the GC) and looks like things are going well for them on the one across the street.

Thanks to JDevtec for posting the pics. I thought that his request to keep my rig for 5 days seemed odd, a day of 2 seems more realistic to me. I want to get my old rig fixed and squeeze more life out of her, somaybe this place is still OK to do the work.

Can not wait to get my truck back Tuesday. I picked up a new project friday and started breaking her down. Ran into a snag with the cylinder sleeve today and think I'll have to get it machined.

Your very welcome. I’m glad I was able to help you guys out. I want to thank the three of you also. I learned a lot in that 10 hour crash course watching you guys strip those trucks down and rebuild them. Sorry I wasn’t much help on the wrenching but glad I was able to help how I could.

In my neighborhood, it looks like an inch or two on the road. I’ve not heard a plow come by in a while to salt or plow. I’ll be working from home so I can help more than that. If you have to head out, good luck and drive safe.
