He may have given some thought. It works well now. I have wheeled with him a quite a bit. It’s surprisingly difficult to make these second gens low and look low after the swaps.

Totally agree... friend keeps on telling me not to SAS my Taco. And take one of the older Toyota chassis he has laying around. I told him, I like having heat and AC. And having the ability to drive down the road for gas.... legally

Not to detract from this thread, but if you take a gander over on this one, fast forward some pages, and he's designing a bolt in kit to rework the front clip. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/fitting-35’s-with-minimal-trimming-now-adding-long-travel-and-934-cv’s.626274/ Maybe not what you're thinking about, but worth a gander. :notsure:

If I had linked the rear I would have cut the frame up front. That being said, there's only so low you can go with a 135" wheelbase.

I just want to link the Front. Link rear if i was going to relocate Radiator to rear, with everything else.

Just clean the frame and notch the passenger side then. You'd have to raise the motor or push the front axle into the radiator to get it any lower.

She's got a few more dents and dings since the last time I put up a picture here, but she's still going strong. There's a charity run later this month at Katemcy Offroad. I'll get a few new pictures then.

Cut front frame, raise the motor. Cut the hood for the SCer to have a view to the sky.

It's got some really great parts in it and is worth skimming through. The front clip is in the works and should be a real improvement for the front end of these trucks. The new tank the they are working on is also pretty cool, 26 or 36 gallons as a replacement or an axillary tank where the spare tire is now.
