Body Lifted ?

Just wanted to see some body lifted trucks, or if anyone is running a 3'' + a body lift

 

I know of 2 off hand.... tacotron and cohrmundt

i have a 6" suspension and 3" body lift... the worst part of having the body lift, is the frame shows so much. thats why im gettin some sliders built by relentless to cover the frame up

 

i never had a problem with bodylifts.i had them on 3 trucks.all my brothers ran them with no issue.i wouldnt do hardcore offroading with it

 

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a B/L if it's sized correctly. The problems come when people use spacers that are too small and improper hardware.

As long as you maintain the proper contact surface for the mounts, and you torque them properly you will have no issues.

 

i've actually been thinking of doing a 1" BL, does anyone make a 1" BL? all i ever see is 3"

 

Ive always heard they ride like crap. Never used one, thats why I asked.

These guys can make you a 1" body lift that is why i was wondering i am thinking of putting one more inch on top of the 3'' suspension lift

A B/L only moves the distance between the frame and the body. It does nothing to the suspension, so it won't change anything as far as ride.

 

Does a bl lift the rear also?
