Just be careful with the back panel in winter. You in Oregon? The cinder gets on that panel and is a bitch to remove without scratching it. Mine untimely cracked when I opened it in sub freezing temps.

I have had the topper for about 7 or so years (got it for my old 2007, you may notice the old style logos/patches), so I am familiar with the care needed in cold weather. My friend once split it by not paying attention on a ski trip, but luckily it was still under warranty, and they replaced the rear panel for free by making a trip to their factory in Boulder.

As part of the transfer to the new truck, I ordered some replacement weatherstripping, replacement black plastic clips on the rails for the rear panel, and painted the rails/mounting hardware black.

Nice , looks like it’s in really good shape. Never understood why they didn’t come with black hardware.

I never considered having it replaced under warranty, I was going to just order the tinted or mesh panel but never got around to it. Now I have an RSi Smartcap on order that I think will work out better for what I need.

I loved running the topper in the summer without panels though. I think if they came up with a glass hinged rear panel option I would still be running it.

Had some time the other day at work . I repainted my bumpers and sliders . After 60k + miles of trips and bumping stuff plus beach driving it needed some fresh black . I've been neglecting it a bit since i got my m2comp and have been focusing on what i want to do with it .

Well you pretty much nailed it. $15 silicon waterproof, anti-slip pet mat. It's like it was made for this exact purpose. Thanks for the awesome tip! Rolls up really small and fits in the tool bag or drink box.

    Nice paint. Looks familiar.
I too chose orange bedliner for an authentic orange peel look!

Added the awning and radio knobs today. Put the awning up hastily just to get a sense for it so looks kind crappy. Excited for some hot springing in April and beyond.
The radio knobs are so much better.

I want to dechrome mine. I hate I can’t find rear bumper caps to match but that’s Inferno life. I also want to change that chrome trim around the grill. So much I want to do. I want a 3” lift but don’t know a lot about lifting so gonna take a while to figure that out of course replace the rims/tires.

Just have yours sprayed, or get the paint shop to hook you up with a rattle can of 4X0 and hit them yourself.

I’m more worried that buying a fan of paint and trying it won’t look as good. I prefer professional

CarID last fall, black ones. Fronts are black resin OEM ones from Toyota.
Had the four bumper ends sprayed inferno by the local collision shop for $419.
