    Yeah same deal.

I usually buy whole chickens or pork loins and process that down and get lots of chicken bits or pork chops. Store down the road gets some random shit in sometimes too. Looking for cow tongue as my next WTF is he eating move. I want to start cooking some newer stuff - I hate falling into the trap of "What can I make tonight...what have I made before and am in the mood for". Trying to expand my horizons.

I picked up 200lbs of fresh pork on Saturday. Another 50-ish of smoked meat in 3 weeks.

    :hungry:

I buy like, 6 lbs and it lasts me at least a couple weeks. I'll do a shredded roast (tacos, pasta sauce, or sandwiches. BBQ or otherwise, my wife's cousin turned me onto plain w/ avocado, it's pretty good!), couple roasted loins, some chops - a normal size pork loin lasts me about 2 weeks. A chicken lasts about a week, depending. Vacuum sealer is my friend!

    I love this map.

    "Where is it snowing"

    "....Everywhere but Boston"

...I actually wonder if that has to do with radar interference due to the city and/or a microclimate. Cool stuff. Probably bailing out mid day and working from home after lunch.

Very good point. Fish tacos are just about my favorite thing ever! I may actually go catch some crappie tonight in the storm and have fish tacos tomorrow while I'm working from home. See how motivated I am after work.

We do a pig every year. This year's was late getting to the butcher because everybody and their brother decided to raise their own meat this year so they were booked solid super early and ended up at 325lbs hanging weight.

Edit- had the same problem with this year's broilers; I raised 15 birds as usual, but since they were an extra month before I could get them in for slaughter so I ended up with 30 5-7lb chicken halves.

Can confirm, not snowing yet in Boston. I'm on the western border of Boston and it's getting dark, but no snow flying yet. I live further west and had some really light flurries when I left this morning at 5:30, just hasn't made it's way to Boston yet.

We just have flurries here so far. It's so cold that it's already sticking.

We got a couple inches already. Decided against driving an hour down to West Haven this morning. I don't care about driving in the snow, but I hate dealing with all the other idiots on the road. I think it's supposed to be pretty nasty down by the shore later too.

My plan is to let all the snow fall and clean it up tomorrow morning. With the chance of freezing rain, it usually works out better to let it fall on the snow raher than the bare driveway.

I still pay income tax for now - job is too good to leave for the moment. I commute down for work now 50 minutes each way....

    Forever modding!
I was wondering if there is anyone who can help me get 2 things done in the near future:
    - Repaint leaf springs. I can't get the OME Dakar Leaf Pack to come apart for the life of me.
    - Install lift kit:
    - 6112 / 5160 Performance Bilstein Kit w/ OME Dakar Leaf Pack (HS16BK-3)
    - JBA STD High Caster Upper A-arms
    - ECGS bushing
Closer to Boston the better, I dont have space for the install. Looking for either people who would help or businesses that would be recommended to do either.

For the dakars you'll need some good metal C-Clamps to ease the tension so you can pull the hardware apart.

As for the install - contact Roku vehicles LLC - they're the best in the area. https://rokovehicles.com/
