So last night we went to Target, we park and start to go in and I saw one of the new Broncos parked by us. I'm looking at it and to be honest it sort of struck me like one of those Chinese knock off cars trying to rip off a Land Rover.

Got this Land Rover Discovery next

 

From what I've heard on the Bronco it's supposed to be good off road. They are trying to take some market away from Jeep (cause I'm sure they will go down without a fight).

I know Ford used to own Land Rover what dang they sold it in 2008 stop ripping off their look already.

 

I’ve seen the regular bronco models and agree with ya. I still want to see one of the models that come standard with 35” tires all rigged out.

 

We were up by the Land Rover/Jaguar dealership last week (Duluth Trading by there and we had to pick up and order from there) They had the new LR Defender sitting out front. That was pretty sweet looking. I haven't driven one but I wouldn't turn down a chance to.

I think it's meant to take the market share from the 4Runner more than the Wrangler.

 

The press where I live said Jeep but I do live in the state where the big american companies started so that's likely a reason. Toyota was WAY more popular when I lived in FL than they are here. Though oddly enough I have been seeing a LOT of Alfa Romeo and Maserati SUV's around here lately.

 

I have yet to see either of those, but I'm in a lower income region.

 

Yeah, we see ‘em up here a lot too. Mostly parked, bein’ towed or just plain dead ‘n stranded. Some of Worse performing vehicles in snow ‘n cold that I’ve ever seen.

 

I like the defender with the cargo boxes on the side. Land Rover is a pretty popular brand here, I’ll take pics and tag you if we get a Defender to detail
