Lol, you're right. I forgot to mention the brakes. Also didn't mention all the OF upgrades that were added over time.

That said, the drive train is as is. Of course now that we've all talked about it, she'll probably blow up this afternoon.

MGM. There is another MGM on my street. Same year but DCLB.

I have also heard someone booting around in a black SB I think. Sounds like they have a PRO exhaust installed. It sounds great.

I've seen a quicksand parked in front of the Greek restaurant on Mill as well as a white access cab on Mill East.

My brakes have been regularly inspected and I did my first brake job after owning my taco for over 9 years.

Factory drums were replaced in February 2020 as well as a new E-brake. So nice to have the new E-brake working as it should. Keep in mind I have only driven my Tacoma 120,000 km in 10 years.

I am not 100% sure but I think I’m rolling I’m 20 year old factory front wheel bearings.....
Not too many Chevy owners can say that!:militarypress:

Do explain, in detail what you dislike about this rig.

(No joke I want to hear what you have to say, you have a ton of knowledge about built up rigs id like to continue to hear come to the surface)

    1. drive shaft angle (dose not give a lot of droop) unless it has longer splines of course
    2. front shakles, y j's do fine but if your going to build a rig you put the shackles at the rear
    3. center of gravity. self explanatory
    4. the height, getting in and out and cog, what a pain that will be and it would be long till the steering coloum or steering wheel gets pulled sideways from getting in. not to mention you shoulders and or arms maybe you feet from jumping out.
    5. wheel up travel..... dose not look very good

thats all i got from what i can see from the pic

I started my carpentry career working for a log house builder , he had one like this that we drove back and forth to work in Haliburton .I remember driving it and thinking how under powered it felt,

This thing will roll over very easily on rocks, like that LX450 by the owner of Yankum Ropes in the recent Matt's Off-Road Recovery video.

Judging by the tires, this rig was made to wade through swamps and deep water, though I don't know if it has the power to churn those tires in mud.

Great conversation guys and these are all valid points :D

When I laid eyes on this on Instagram I just fell in love because it was super cool and as a Toyota freak I didn’t look at the practicality of it I just wanted it in my garage:bikewheelie:That’s why I said it would be like winning the lottery… LOL

I am interested to know who comes up with these idea's behind the garbage included in the new e4x4's

Engage tank turn and have 95% chance to just destroy a bunch of crap, or loose 3 beads at once! Its a sweet gamble button, just smash it and pray.

Interesting. I guess with electrical motors at each wheel it wouldn’t be too bad. A lot of machinery uses diesel driven hydraulic motors that do the same thing. Issue is they aren’t that fast and they get hot.

When compared to rear steer with more linkages and issues with driving (steering misalignment due to wheel alignment or improper driveline setup) this is interesting.

kinda cool. Again, could be executed more robustly (think skid steer).
