    The problem is that the molds are expensive.

    I think folks could undercut KTJO 4x4 by a big margin and still make a ton of cash. But, it would take 6mos.

    @MESO said that he was not interested due to the proximity to the airbag. We acknowledge that the side curtain deployment will not be affected, but the risk of a frivolous lawsuit is real in today's world.

    If someone worked for an injection molding that made small part runs this would be a product they could make. They could even go as far as use the existing handle as a sample and make the needed improvements and adjustments. It would be an opportunity to expand a company’s product line.
