That's what I was wondering, if something internal. BIL worked machinery repair at a packing plant and some of the SS with nasty meat remnants...stink and sometimes explosive.
Man I missed out on fire and fire training today shucks. Fire..fire:beavisd:

We have a customer who makes noodles and one who grinds cabbage. Both nasty when they bring stuff in, they don't clean it.

Had to leave work for 45 minutes to drive home, pick up the kids and bring them to school because the Pilot wouldn't start.

Now I have to leave early because Interstate Battery closes at 5:00 instead of 6:00 and I might not make it in time.

It'll probably end up setting me back $200.

    :spending:

And apparently I've never entered leave from work for two different times on the same day before because our software won't let me, which is stupid.

Here’s the part after the first op.

    Bottom half

    Bolted together.

There is more to them but this is all we do before shipping them to the customer.
It’s about an hour total to do both sides of both parts. Only 50 more sets to get done.

thank you. They turn out pretty nice for castings. Some of them have pitting and look not so good after machining.

Saw a piece of 3” channel beside my toolbox and figured it’d be good for a skid with the web so I split it with the metal skilsaw.

There used to be another machine shop next to us that ran gas pump nozzles on 3 cnc milling machines. They were cast in China. About 40% of them had defects so bad they were unusable. He used to give them to me, I would take a truck load at a time to the scrap yard. He finally figured out how much he could be making and stopped giving them to me :D

No time clock for me, either, but I still have to enter my vacation, sick, dependent sick and funeral leave.

But apparently not twice on the same day!

You did well for sawing that free hand.
Man those saws are handy, but loud, hot chip throwing muthas.
I'm usually cutting off a full sheet so set up a straight edge.
