I drove around for a couple hours and it seems like everyone stayed home today

Logged off work. Can't decide to go shovel #2 or not. Doesn't look that deep, but wind is strong. News says the final heavy snow band is about to hit, so I 'should' go reset to zero. But....
I'm so much more palm tree than T-bar (ski lift)

The big hill before Port Jervis was always a treat.

 

Going to run the blower around 7 before the rain/sleet line comes in and turns this shit into concrete.

 

I just came in about 30 minutes ago from snowboarding the driveway. Roughly 12” of lighter stuff.

 

make it easier for the ice to stick to the pavement. LOL.

Doesn't even look like i went out yesterday

 

Good morning all...!

 

About 16" here. Cleared about 10" yesterday between 4-5pm and another 6" this morning that took 1.5 hrs. Snowblower did better yesterday. This morning was wetter and did not throw very far. Also clogged often. But all done now.

 

Awesome ride last night on no light back roads to a buddies house.
Couldn't see 50 feet down the road so it was like 20-30 mph the whole time.
Best part was the plows hadn't done anything so it was mostly fresh snow.
On way back home I hit some trails, 15 mph mostly normally I do about 40.
Found 1 poor girl that couldn't make it to the top of a hill.
I helped her for free, she was a cutie
No tow hook too be found anywhere just a bunch of plastic...
Told her what I was going to do and asked if she wanted me to do it cause something could break, she says I trust you I've seen your truck around.
Strapped her rims with 2 individual straps that cam out to main strap to the truck.
Gave her some instructions which she followed perfectly!
Draged her up to the top very slowly.
Easy peasy, I love being re-geared!
No damage anywhere which actually surprised me...I told her some plastic might crack but it didn't.
She couldn't thank me enough
Fun times.

 

Dug my tractor out this morning not too much on the load which was nice, but the snow drifts on the side were pretty high!

I know the Taco is a compact truck but next to the tractor it looks like a matchbox truck!
