Not sure how much assistance I'll be. I kind of stumbled into a field that supplies such industries.

That said, as long as construction stays hot it could be worthwhile. It's hard/laborious work, but I know a few people who've found it lucrative. Present market concerns have be curious how long it will hold, though

Well, it's more things I should know and all that. I'm still holding out for carpentry/welding, but the experience gain from this would probably get me a foot in somewhere better than the experience I have now. (retail/call center customer service)

I've applied to MCC Contractors for apprenticeship and have a list of contractors to contact for carpentry. Doesn't seem like a good time to contact for carpentry at this moment though, called a few drywallers already.

I can't say I would hate it. I'm really excited about welding at home now and I've always wanted the skills to make a house like Mr. Brady in the Bunch.

Yeah but with a fridge you actually get use of all the quarts instead of losing half of them to ice and then all your stuff ending up soggy

thats the issues i had with a low pro tent but ill tell you this a low pro rack setup is way better for off camber stuff. when i had the full height rack my truck would lean a hell of a lot more and would freak me out ( partially because of no sway bar and longer rear shocks) but the bed space was great and was easy to crawl to the back. the only thing i would say is if you wish to keep the low pro bars get a bed slide so then you can access things in the back without crawling back there.

That’s the issue with my habitat. It’s quite tall in addition to my truck already being tall. I added a rear sway bar and it made a huge difference.

    bed slides are pretty awesome
