They sell both. I have the part numbers at home. Look around. I might have bought inners and outers from Amazon. Super cheap. Super small to store under seat for peace of mind. Axle fits nicely under there tooo

Luckily the previous owner regeared mine to 5.29 so I went from the 285 to 315/75/16
Pretty happy with them. Still need a more aggressive cab mount chop or relocate but only rubs on full lock

anyways.. this is an “Odyssey” going 35s. I chopped the ever living crap out of my CMC.. the relocate is the way to go. That’s gonna happen after gears.

What setting do you guys with SPC upper have it on?

I’m at “F”. I have extra rubbing I’m sure cause I have a 1.25 spacer up front and 4.5 BS.. essentially I’m at 3.25 BS.. really looking at the SCS f5.. with 3.5 BS.. I think this is the cause for the extra rubbing.. after all the trimming I’m only rubbing at full lock and compression

 

finally can hop onto this thread, regeared, CMR, pinchweld etc. Still rubbing on my reservoirs at full lock but still working on that. It's good for daily driving but have to button up a few more things before I get back to wheeling. Nitto Trail Grapplers 35/11.5/17

 

Second set of wheels on 35s.

315/75/16 to be exact.

Old wheels had a -25 offset with no spacers, aggressive CMC, trimmed fenders/flares, 3” lift, no rubbing at all.

Current set of wheels:

0 offset + 1.5” spacers (.5” more offset than before) now rubbing at full wheel lock but only in reverse.

....Time to pull the trigger on a cab mount relocation kit!

 

Joined the club a couple weeks ago. I only rub at full lock going reverse. I’m sure I’ll rub off road as well. Will need to do some adjustments when I get the chance.

or is the whole thing a camper?

Thank you for this! definitely helpful, but I have a question, never changed the tie rod but I'm sure I can figure it out. Are those two parts the entire assembly I need If something happens while I'm out on a trail? and which axle did you go with? I wouldn't need an oem replacement if something happens, just something to get me off the trail til I can rebuild the oem axle. Thanks man I appreciate it!

 

All you need is 2 matching inners and 2 matching outers. The moog versions are tough & GREASEABLE. 10/10 would recommend. I literally just changed both outers because I’m an idiot & hammered the threads to free them.

 

Why do you suggest 2?

 

They’re easy enough to change out. Why not do both and then go get a fresh alignment?

 

Thank you sir! And a good idea to have 2 sets on hand. Do you cary an oem axle or aftermarket one? I was looking to have one on me just for temporary trail fixes. I don't want to be "that guy" on the trails lol

 

I use NAPA HD cv axles and for the cost, I think they’re unbeatable. They cost $120 a piece and have a lifetime warranty with a heavy duty outer boot. This is my go-to. OEM axles are something ridiculous like $675 a piece. No thanks.

 

Yea they are pricey. I just wanted a back up to throw on if something happened, and then hopefully the oem axle would still be rebuildable.

 

If one’s not broken I don’t see why you’d need to change out both. And I’ve never heard of 2 being broken at one time. That just sounds super unlucky!
