I haven’t done a chalk test. Discount Tire put them at 38. That seems a little high. But the ride is much better compared to chopped up my terrains

I think I’m going to test him around 30 32 psi.

I decided to go with Toyo Over the Cooper because I believe they are a little better off road based on the tread pattern. There is a slight amount of road noise at highway speed’s but it’s not bad compared to MTs.

I still haven’t got the vehicle aligned yet. So driving back from discount tire on the highway probably sounded a little bit louder because of more camber and the toe is off.

Toyo does have a 500 mile 45 day trial period. I talked to Discount Tire regarding this and they said that all I have to do is bring the tires back to them and they will credit me for another tire.

Yeah shop put at 38 as-well. Seems a little high to me. I also notice the road noise. Falkens were not as loud. But I did have vibrations with the falkens around 70-80 mph. These don't have any which is great.

Does a set of rear superbumps with the ubolt flip count as "extended"?

Not my pic but exact same product.
I've got Dakar Mediums and Bilstien 5125s in the back.
    I don't offroad at all.
Most I've seen in 2 years is some crappy gravel/dirt roads going to the lake that were on the side of a mountain.
I'm just hoping I wont have any rubbing at full lock with 2wd,an agressive cmc OME 887s and all the trimmings.
    285/75/15s are 33.9" vs 34.5" and 11.3 wide vs 11.4

I honestly didn't do anything to the rear because I didn't think anything back there would rub. The front (with various steering angles) is where most rubbing is an issue. So as for the bump stops, I was referring to up front. I think if you've done the CMC and trimmed fenders already you're probably good. I didn't even CMC and I'm not coming close.

Yup those will do the same as an extended bumpstop. My 35s don’t rub even on the rear fender liner when flexed.

At discount tire now getting a set of stock size replacements put on (265/65/17). Will I be looking at a diffrent tire pressure for these vs the stock 29 psi Toyo A30s? Just trying to read up how correct tire pressures are calculated has caused my brain to quit lol

To much backspacing may rub the spindle with the larger tire. I have gusseted spindles and they require a spacer or wheels with less back spacing.

That was my point although maybe my terminology wasn't proper. You need a wheel or a spacer that provides a negative offset to get that tire away from both the spindle AND the UCA. TRD Sport wheels are NOT fit for that purpose. I believe the TRD OR wheels have an additional half inch so they may have worked but no matter; got what I needed by sticking with the Icon arms. :D

I just spent a bunch of time researching this yesterday and the Toyo tire pressure tables to figure out the pressure for my new 265/70/17 AT III's. General answer would be if your load rating is the same on the old tires and the new tires, then your pressure should be the same. Some info from Toyo here:

    https://www.toyotires.com/tires-101/tire-load-and-inflation-tables
    https://www.toyotires.com/media/3729/application_of_load_inflation_tables_20200723.pdf

If the load ratings are different, then you look at the pressure table for your factory tires with the factory recommended pressure at their load rating, then find the matching pressure for the new tires with the new load rating and then find the matching pressure that gives you the same load rating.

For example, my factory Goodyears were 112 load rating and my new 265/70/R17's are 115T rated. These are both ISO-Metric tires so I used the ETRTO chart on page 34 of the linked PDF. The 30psi door jam recommendation gave me a load capacity of 2149lb with the factory tire's 112 load rating. Then I looked at the row for 115 load rating and to match 2149lb I need 28 psi (rule of thumb bigger tire needs less pressure for given load). That seemed a tiny bit light so I ended up putting them at 31 PSI.

Anyhow, that's what I think I figured out from reading all that stuff. If anyone more experience has clarification that would be cool too. And since threads are worthless without pics, here's my new AT III's on 2021 4Runner Pro wheels.

    265/65R17 is XL (116T) - 31 PSI for you
    265/70R17 is SL (115T) - 28 PSI for you
    LT265/70R17 is E (121/118S) - 37 PSI for you

Which tire did you have put on?

Damn, made a whole post with math showing how I figured it out too but realised I screwed up and assumed these were LT tires after reading your post a 2nd time. If they had been LT tires the PSI would have been 41 PSI lol. But since they are ISO the PSI should be 31 PSI on the 265/65/17 Toyo AT3 after moving from the 29 psi 265/65/17 Toyo A30.

Super nice set up. I think I'm going to buy the same. Also, do you have a lift or leveling kit in?
