That's another issue I have to remind myself of, as it totally destroyed my parent's relationship. I do love a good beer, or whisky/bourbon/etc. but I'm more of a different flavor guy. Try it for the taste, not the buzz/hangover. After seeing what it do to my dad has left me with caution and a warning in that regard. I don't turn to it to solve an issue, as it only temporary "relieves" it, not help in the long run.

Anxiety can chip away at you.....daily. It can cause you to 2nd guess everything, bog you down when making decisions, make you question your self worth, make you paranoid, make you question your abilities, relationships, etc., etc.

Usually attached to it is some level of depression here and there. Often they go hand in hand.

All I can say in regards to the big snowfall prediction is: "Bring it bitches!" I've driven hours through each of the biggest storms we've had the last six years. And all with a civic or corolla. Except last winter I had the taco, and even then I still made it even though I was dragging the undercarriage for an hour on the main roads. I grew up in a border town where the power lines ran 50 miles through the woods. We'd lose power for 3-6 days each winter in the big storms. I miss that stuff.

wishin' all you down easter's a good winters rest and no drama to wake up to. Worry about my mom. 87 and already isolated because of the pandemic. she usually gets hit pretty well with these storms.

    Hope they over estimated it.

    Cheers, lads and wolfie.

My parents got divorced because of it also.
My whole family tree is a bunch of lushes.
I promised myself not going to add to it or ruin my son’s childhood.
    My house is dry.
My son and his wife do drink some.
Anytime I’m thinking of drinking (believe me with the career I have I need an alcoholic IV.)
I remember my childhood and it goes right away.

My hour drive home was fun. White out conditions with all the wind and swirling snow. Maybe 2 inches on the ground by the time I just got home. The roadway was already getting drifts building up over it, so that made things more interesting. It's a duel between the drifts pulling the car one way, my traction control trying to figure out what the hell is happening, and me trying to drive the car like there isn't traction control.

I do as well, but I stopped for gas and forgot to do it when I got going again. Stupid thing... gotta stop moving completely, hold the button for ten seconds, light the dash up like it's Christmas and Hanukah together. Even then, the corolla will still cut throttle! Annoying as crap when trying to power out of a turn or slide.

    Nope nope
Can’t have complete control of your vehicle..
You know who knows more than you do on how to drive.
