Looks toast for sure! Just 2 months? Is that expected life span?

 

I certainly hope not. No idea how long the one before it was there

 

Time to look for root cause of that early failure then. Someting Wong

 

Likely cause is the environment that motor is in. Lots of wet fresh sawdust around it, lack of cleaning and care by the cleanup crews. Not in an ideal location for ventilation/decent airflow. Sadly with the way that waste belt is placed, it's the only location available.

 

Was it grounded or bearings howling

 

Grounded on two phases. Instant popped fuses

 

After the bearings growled momentarily then she went to ground looks like rather nicely when the rotor and stater became acquainted with one another.

 

Oh they were gooood friends.

 

If your up to a challenge and would like to spend some time in the subtropicals. I have some welding that needs done.

This FJ came from NY, I think they use to park it in the ocean.
